GAIT DISORDERS AND THERAPY FOR CEREBRAL PALSY 1. What is a gait disorder in cerebral palsy?    Gait is a pattern of walking. Walking involves balance and coordination of muscles so that the body is moved forward in a rhythm, called the stride. There are many possibilities that may cause an abnormal gait.
